Unforgettable Opportunities
You’ll always remember what you learned at NC State, because the eureka moments happen in places you’ll never forget.
If you’re a student who thrives with hands-on lessons and high-impact experiences, you belong here. Think and Do isn’t just our motto. It’s how we operate.

Take the Wolfpack Worldwide
Over 200 study abroad opportunities await. Your classroom could be the Great Barrier Reef, the Amazon rainforest or our own permanent international facility in Prague.
Extraordinary Classrooms
Our students research in zero-gravity labs. They learn at the top of 30-foot-high ropes courses. And when they study infrastructure, they do it by cracking concrete pillars under thousands of pounds of pressure. So when we say “hands-on learning,” we aren’t kidding.
Make it Yourself
We’ve got two Makerspaces on our campus. You’ll have access to an arsenal of tools to teach yourself new skills — from sewing to 3D printing — and carry them with you for the rest of your life.
“I am learning how to pull out the strengths and weaknesses of my students so that they leave my classroom a different person.”

“My experiences and the people at NC State in and out of the classroom continue to push me to be better.”

“With all these programs, I’ve actually felt more connected to my culture, to my roots, than I did before.”
